There are many people who live in very difficult conditions in Tulum, without consistent access to medicine, nutritious food, and other modern amenities. This is all in spite of the fact that they are good, hard working people.
We've provided tens of thousands of free meals via a food bank that we operate, as well as countless clothing items and medical support to in-need families and orphans that live in Tulum.
The tourist and expat communities of Tulum are full of caring people who would love to help, but haven't known where to start. Feed Tulum is changing that. We believe that if we work together, we can change the lives of many people who live here, in massively positive ways.
Feed Tulum facilitates a number of one-off charitable events in our community, in addition to the following active programs:
We have partnered with a local orphanage, providing them with food and activities that inject positivity into the lives of kids there such as English lessons, yoga classes, field trips, and post-graduation job placement assistance.
Additionally, we have recently broken ground on an on-site permaculture farm, which will provide the kids with a consistent source of healthy, organic food.
We operate a bi-weekly service, in collaboration with a local church, Iglesia Camino Al Cielo, which provides free food kits to local families in need.
Tacos and Toys is our big annual holiday event that provides local kids with toys and families with fun memories and food.
Our biggest constraint is financial and the most impactful way for you to help us is by donating or helping us raise funds. We don't have salaried staff and 100% of funds we receive go back into the community. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and donations are tax deductible for Americans.
