There are many people who live in very difficult conditions in Tulum, without consistent access to medicine, nutritious food, and other modern amenities. This is all in spite of the fact that they are good, hard working people.

Let’s fix this together.

Since our founding, Feed Tulum has provided thousands of free meals, countless clothing items, and medical support to needy families in Tulum.

These good people need your help. Let’s work together and to improve the standard of living for everybody in Tulum.

Program goal

Provide consistent, nutritious food to Tulum’s underserved community, while creating easy pathways for Tulum’s tourist and expat community to make meaningful contributions to these awesome, in-need locals.

The tourist and expat communities of Tulum are full of caring people who would love to help, but don’t know where to start. Let’s change that!

We believe that if we work together, we can change the lives of many people who live here, in massively positive ways.

Additionally, it also seems like there’s a divide between the people who live in the Invasion and those of us who live elsewhere in Tulum, in which we only interact when they’re serving us or something along those lines. I think all of our lives would be better if we work to bridge this gap and create lots of friendships between these communities.

How you can help

Any of these would be incredible:

  1. Our biggest constraint here so far is financial. Many people have volunteered their time, which is awesome, but we’re very bottlenecked financially. If you’re interested in making a financial contribution, that would be incredible. 100% of it would pay for food that’s distributed to the locals. Click here to make a donation.
  2. Every 1-2 weeks, volunteers plan to buy a bunch of food, split the costs evenly and then distribute it to people who live there. You can join us in this!
  3. Team up with a few people in your life and independently lead an experience of buying, preparing, and distributing food. This sort of experience lends itself well for groups of friends, club (or men’s/women’s groups) activities, dates, family activities, etc.
  4. Do you know anybody who is interested in getting involved (especially in capacity #1 or #3 described above)? Please send them my way.
  5. We regularly run donation drives, receiving clothes and other household goods which are distributed back to the community. Join our WhatsApp group to learn about future donation drives. Or, message us ([email protected]) if you’d like to make a donation when we don’t have a drive scheduled.
  6. Many members of our community have had ideas for new programs/fundraisers and then took the initiative to make these things happen, while we provide resources to support them. If you have an idea that you’d like to get off the ground, please get in touch!
